University
of Montana
The
University of Montana was founded in 1893 in the burgeoning pioneer
town of Missoula, less than 90 years after Lewis and Clark and their
Corps of Discovery explored the area. Since then, the University has
nurtured a tradition of cultural and scientific exploration. Today,
“The Discovery Continues” at UM – from a local, regional
and global perspective into the next frontier of space.
Snowbowl
Snowbowl
is built on two peaks and has 2,600 feet of continuous vertical drop.
There is all kinds of terrain for every kind of rider. Paradise is a
3 mile long cruiser. Grizzly rolls down 2,000 feet through steep terrain.
There are plenty of un-named winders through the forest. Ski or ride
all day long, from open to close, and never take the same line twice.
